Frequently Asked Questions

Is Venapro supposed to inflate and deflate?

The pump will inflate each leg cuff to a preset pressure of 55 mmhg and deflate once the pressure is reached. The cycles are repeated on each unit until the power is turned off.

Should Venapro feel warm at times?

The device housing may emit minor warmth during use or during charging, this is not cause for concern. If the device becomes HOT to touch, discontinue use and contact us by phone 888-963-6265.

Is Venapro approved for air travel?

Yes, our products are approved by the TSA.

How long does it take to charge the Venapro?

While powered off, it takes 4 hours to charge from depleted state.

How long does it take to charge my Venapro system?

While powered off, it takes approximately 4 hours to charge from depleted state.

How long does the Venapro battery last?

When powered on and continuously operating, the battery life from full-capacity to total depletion can last up to 20 hours. Altitude, hot, and/or cold temperatures can affect battery life. Avoid extreme temperatures.

When/How long should I wear the device?

Wear it anytime you are sitting or sleeping more than one hour. The greatest risk occurs when you are not moving, so feel free to use it as much as you like.

Can the device be worn while it charges?

While Venapro does allow for the device to operate while it is charging, we advise against this. Operating the device(s) while charging may result in inefficient and longer charging time and could result in harm to the battery. Use only the charger that is included within your package.

Do I need to return the device?

No, the device is yours to keep. There is no need to return the device. In the event a device needs to be returned, our Patient Care Coordinator will contact you.

What should I do if one of the devices doesn’t keep the full charge, or the device seems to be malfunctioning?

Please continue wearing the functioning device on the affected leg (surgery leg) and call 888-963-6265 to see if we can help troubleshoot the problem. If the troubleshooting is unsuccessful, the patient/caregiver may pick up a new one at the clinic, or we will ship a new device to you.

How do I clean the device?

Wipe down with a damp cloth, mild soap and water. Do not submerge the device in water. Do not expose the housing box or any of the mechanical / electrical components to water.

What if the device is not inflating properly?

STEP 1.
If you feel the device isn’t inflating properly, first check that the device is properly secured to your leg. Proper usage should have the entire garment of the device fitting snugly around your leg. To ensure proper fit, follow the instructions in the quick start guide and/or the instructions for use.

STEP 2.
Upon confirming proper fit, if you feel that the device is still inflating improperly, remove the device from your leg, connect it to the power supply cord included within your package and allow the device to charge for a minimum of 3 hours. Prior to charging, please inspect the charging cord for defects, according to the steps listed in “What should I do if my device does not appear to be charging when connected to the power supply and/or will not hold a charge after it has charged?“. Once you have allowed the device to recharge, reapply the device to your leg according to the directions listed in Step 1, power on and allow the device to operate for 5 minutes. If the inflation issues still persist, please contact customer service to request a replacement.

What do the indicator lights mean?

Battery icon: Remains illuminated at all times during operation.
Solid Green All Three Bars: 100% battery life remaining.
Solid Green Two Bars: 68% to 100% battery life remaining, when charging in use or sleep mode, third bar pulses until fully charged.
Solid Green One Bar: 33% battery life remaining, second and third bar pulses alternately until 100% charged when charging in use or sleep mode.
Flashing Yellow Bar: Power Button will flash Yellow, and “BL” quickly flashes on the LED display. The battery will last 30- 60 minutes or less.
Flashing RED Bar: Battery will last five minutes or less. “BC” quickly flashes on the LED display until auto connected while the device is in use.If lights continue to flash: make sure the wrap is snug around the calf. Turn the Circul8 Max unit off, and then power the Circul8 Max unit back on. If the unit continues to flash lights and the default pressure is not reached, please call 1-888-767-0015.
